All-on-X design, outsourced to a 3Shape team.
SubDesignCenter designs full-arch implant-supported restorations in 3Shape, from provisional to final, for U.S. dental labs and clinics that put design quality first. Every design is built for a predictable, passive fit, reviewed before delivery and open to discussion with your designer.

All-on-X design questions, answered
What full-arch cases do you design?
We design full-arch implant-supported restorations in 3Shape, from the provisional through the final prosthesis.
What do I need to send?
Send the scans with scan bodies, a scan of the approved setup or existing prosthesis, the bite, and a work ticket naming the implant system and the final material.
How do you design for passive fit?
The design follows the implant positions captured by your scan bodies and is checked in our review step before delivery, so the framework is built for a predictable, passive fit.
Which implant systems do you support?
We work from the implant libraries available in 3Shape.
How do I send cases?
Send the scans your lab received, from any intraoral or desktop scanner, as STL, PLY or OBJ, together with the prescription or work ticket. We set up the case exchange that fits your lab when we start working together; labs on 3Shape Communicate can also send that way.
How fast are full-arch designs returned?
All-on-X stages follow the workflow schedule agreed for each case.
How do revisions work?
Every case goes through a review step before delivery. Request refinements and we adjust. A case is not done until you approve it.
Is design consultation included?
Yes. Every case includes a conversation with the designer about the final restoration: material choice, design decisions and how the design will mill or print.
Who designs the cases?
Cases are designed and reviewed under the direction of a 3Shape opinion leader who has taught digital dentistry as a professor in Korea.
What do I receive?
You receive a production-ready design file, prepared for your mill or printer.
How is patient information handled?
Put the patient's first name and your lab's case number on the work ticket; that is all we need to keep cases organized. Leave out last names, dates of birth and contact details. Patient gender and approximate age help us shape the design.
Send a test case.
Tell us how your lab works and we'll set up a case exchange that fits it.
